Art Night (La Nit de l’Art) 2023 to be held in Palma on 23rd September

La Nit de l'Art 2023 de Palma

14 galleries will participate in the 27th edition of Art Night (La Nit de l’Art), which will feature free guided tours until October

Art Night 2023 returns in Palma on 23rd September, with a programme packed with exhibitions and activities for all audiences. The island’s major artistic event will take place from 6pm – 11pm, with parallel activities organised on the days before and after the event. Twelve Art Palma Contemporani galleries (ABA Art Lab, Baró, CCA Andratx, Galería Fermay, Fran Reus, Kewenig Palma, LA BIBI, L21 Gallery, Galería Maior, Galería Pelaires, Pep Llabrés Art, Galería Xavier Fiol), M77 Gallery and P Gallery will open their doors to visitors, featuring interesting proposals that will bring contemporary art to the public in very different ways.

Art Night 2023 Programme

The Baró gallery will be hosting a solo exhibition by Susy Gómez in this new edition. Aba Art Lab will exhibit works by Teresa Matas, while CCA Andratx will present a new open studios day, alongside an exhibition by Anna Nero.

The Fermay Gallery is also presenting a collective exhibition, with works by Nadia Barkate, Alex Hudson and Nadia Naveau. At Paseo Mallorca, Fran Reus will surprise the public with works by Thom Trojanowski, Jack Jubb, Guillermo Ros, Marian Garrido and Piotr Bury Lakomy.

Kewenig Palma will open the artistic season with Andi Fischer. L21 Palma will also do so at its s’Escorxador venue, with three solo exhibitions by Rob Thom (‘Berserkers’), Ryan Browning (‘Loot’) and Ákos Ezer (‘At least we had fun to-day…’). LA BIBI Gallery will share a project by Serge Attukwei Clottey.

At the Pelaires Gallery, a 3-minute walk from Nivia Born Boutique Hotel, you will be able to admire three exhibitions from renowned national and international artists: Oliver Osborne, Inês Zenha and Diego Delas. At the same time, the Xavier Fiol and Pep Llabrés galleries will house pieces from the exhibition ‘Variables’ by the young Mallorcan Josep Santamaria.

Guided tours

The week after the start of Art Night 2023, professional guided tours will be on offer in Spanish, Catalan and English. The programme of free visiting hours will be announced on the artpalmacontemporani.com website and will continue throughout the month of October. All with the aim of exploring the participating artists’ works in depth, and welcoming visitors to the spaces and galleries that make the event possible.
