Nivia Born reopens to welcome you this winter - Nivia Born Boutique Hotel

February is here! The greatly anticipated Christmas celebrations and popular festivals of Sant Antoni and Sant Sebastià, when thousands of people congregate in the streets of Palma despite the cold temperatures, are now just a memory, but the weather takes a back seat when fun is on the agenda.

At Nivia Born Boutique Hotel we have an idea; we propose putting January’s sad, gloomy Blue Monday behind us, and replacing it with the joy and enthusiasm of Yellow Wednesday in February. That’s right, today is Yellow Wednesday! And what, you ask, are we celebrating? Very simple; at Nivia Born Hotel Boutique we simply can’t wait until the 20th of June to commemorate the happiest day of the year, so, we are opening our hotel again on the 10th of February so that you can enjoy happy times in a beautiful hotel at the heart of Palma.

Any excuse is a good one, especially when we’re a bit short of bank holidays for a while, to visit one of the most interesting cities in Europe. It’s not just us saying it; the prestigious Forbes magazine considers Mallorca a winning destination as a city break for 2023. The days are getting longer, and the city is still relatively quiet compared to the summer months, making a wander around Palma to visit the most important monuments and art galleries around the area of Paseo del Born, an absolute pleasure, plus the city is playing host to one of the most important musical events of the year: Palma Jazz Festival.

If you love live music and are staying in Palma between the 10th and 19th of February, don’t miss the concerts on offer at the Xesc Forteza Municipal Theatre. Amongst the exceptionally talented artists invited to take part in the fourth edition of this renowned festival, we have trumpet player Yazz Ahmed, saxophonist Víctor de Diego, trumpet player Carlos Sarduy, and saxophonist Eli Degibri. All of whom are bound to surprise and delight audiences as they showcase different styles of jazz.

February is also carnival month in Palma. After two years without any festivities, the city is delighted to welcome back the Sa Rua carnival. It’s a vibrant, colourful festival, full of fun, that is celebrated along the streets in the city centre. Floats, dance troupes, amazing costumes, and plenty of laughter will add a touch of magic to your stay in Palma.

Do you still need convincing? You don’t have to wait for the summer to take advantage of special offers for your next holiday; at Nivia Born Boutique Hotel we are giving you 5 % discount on all your bookings this winter to get rid of those January blues. Don’t miss out! Book your luxury stay in this amazing city now!
