Don’t you know about Be Palma 2024 yet? Don’t miss this gastronomy and local produce fair being held in the Parc de la Mar until 1 May. An event where you can enjoy authentic delicacies to the rhythm of good music in one of the most emblematic places in the capital. Are you up for it?
At Be Palma 2024, 16 food and drink stands await you, where you will find everything from traditional recipes such as cocas de trempó, llonguets of all kinds or the classic pa amb sobrasada. There will also be pizzas, hamburgers, or sandwiches for all tastes (including one made with Mallorcan black pork!). The drinks on offer range from soft drinks and natural fruit juices to beer and wine, among others. Consult the map of the stands, with the presence of local companies such as Merendero Minyones, Can Company and Bodegas José Luis Ferrer.
Move your body!
Under the protection of the Cathedral and with panoramic views of the bay of Palma, Be Palma 2024 takes you out to dance on Palma’s top terrace with a programme of music sessions to end the day in the best way possible:
- Monday, 29 April. 19:00 – 22:00 hrs.: Music session with DJ Julito.
- Tuesday, 30 April. 19:00 – 21:00 hrs.: Music session with Hua – Tech. 21:00 – 23:00 hrs.: Session with records and Miquel Font.
- Wednesday, 1 May. 13:00 hrs.: Vermouth with Vermut Muntaner and Swing. 14:00 – 16:00 hrs.: Music session with DJ Julito.
Still hungry for more? We suggest you take a trip to la Lonja, just a few metres from the Parc de la Mar, where an exhibition by the visual artist Julian Opie (London, 1958) has recently opened. Inside this magnificent Gothic building you can admire large sculptures of human figures as well as large concrete faces. Don’t let the rain stop you!
