This is the premise of the Palma Concert Series, a wonderful musical event that has been developed recently to expand and diversify the summer concert agenda in Palma.
Featuring renowned international artists, the first edition of the Palma Concert Series, which will take place in July in Trui Son Fusteret with an interesting line-up and an intimate format (maximum 4,000 spectators per concert and guaranteed seating), promises to captivate the most demanding audiences with performances by true legends of the music scene.
Electrifying concerts
On Wednesday 17 July it will be the turn of the Scottish band Simple Minds, with a 40-year career behind them and hits that have crossed the Atlantic. Even today they are still able to spread the extraordinary energy with which they take to the stage. Almost a week later, on Tuesday 23 July, James Blunt, the artist behind the multi-platinum single “You’re beautiful”, will perform a concert that is likely to include many of his classics, but also songs from his new album, “Who we used to Be”, a release as full of emotion as always. Tom Jones will take over from the British singer and songwriter on Tuesday 30 July. His discography has been described as timeless and after six decades he remains a major star of the music industry.
With a fourth artist still to be confirmed and other surprises to be unveiled at a later date, the Palma Concert Series is a event not to be missed by lovers of timeless and contemporary music.
