We are very fortunate to have a privileged location in the best area of Palma. Getting to the Nivia Born Boutique Hotel from the airport is really easy and it’s only 10 – 15 minutes away by car.
Here we have a few tips for you if you’re coming by car from the airport to our establishment. We’ll tell you how to get to the hotel and the locations of the nearest public car parks to our boutique hotel in Palma, without going through any ACIRE restricted access zones.
What is the ACIRE zone?
The ACIRE zone is an Area of Restricted Access where only authorised vehicles may enter. There are 12 ACIRE zones in Palma. When you enter these areas by car, cameras read the number plate and check that it is registered in the system. If it’s not registered as an authorised vehicle, a fine is issued, so it’s very important that you follow the instructions below to avoid these zones.

Getting from the airport to the Antoni Maura car park, without passing through an ACIRE zone
As you can see on the map, you need to travel along the Paseo Marítimo until you reach the Sa Feixina park, go down Jaime III, then along the Paseo del Born and take the first exit off Plaza de la Reina where you´ll see the entrance of the Antoni Maura parking.
Getting from the airport to the Nivia Born
In order to reach our hotel by car, you have to enter a Restricted Access area. Please contact us with the vehicle registration plate number and we can then request authorisation for your vehicle to enter the restricted zone.
If you wish to come to the hotel first and let our doorman or porter park your car for you, you’ll need to take the same route towards the car park, but once you get to the Plaza de la Reina, you’ll need to take the second exit to Calle Conquistador; turn down the second street on the left: calle Tous i Maroto (A). Then you should take the first street to your left: Calle Constitució, turn first right into Calle de Can Puigdorfila; turn first left along Calle de les Minyones. The Nivia Born Hotel (B) is at the end of this street.
Parking and valet parking service

This extra includes a parking space in the Antoni Maura public car park, located 300m from the hotel and valet parking service.
Bring your vehicle to the front of the hotel, leave us the keys and our porter will park your vehicle in the car park.
Nearing the date of your arrival we will send you detailed information with instructions on how to access the hotel by road, as there are streets where you cannot drive without prior authorisation.
