We have good news. At Nivia Born Boutique Hotel we would love to say goodbye to the year with the family, just like in the best homes. That is why, on Wednesday 27th December, we will reopen our doors so that you can celebrate Christmas in the way you choose, but always surrounded by the warmth of the most welcoming homes at this time of year.
New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Epiphany… Until January 8th we will be waiting for you with the same cheerful spirit as always, but also with the magic that surrounds Christmas which you can feel not only in every corner of Nivia Born Boutique Hotel, but also in its surroundings. Passeig del Born, Plaça de la Reina, Plaça Joan Carles I… they become the city’s great ‘nativity scene’.
Impossible to get bored
Palma is filled with hope and the great expectation during the last days of the year and will ensure you have an unforgettable stay. The Ruta de Belenes (Nativity Route), route of mangers or cribs with their Christmas scenes is a classic, as is the Cant de la Sibil·la, a medieval chant that can be heard at Midnight Mass in the Cathedral on the night of 24 December. Tradition is also present at the Fira de Nadal i Reis de Palma, with dozens of stalls scattered around Plaza Mayor, La Rambla, Vía Roma and the Parc de Ses Estacions, where you will find an endless array of hand crafted products. And if you’re looking for a daytime plan for the 31st, you can always take part in the San Silvestre race or attend the Festa de l’Estendart (Cathedral and Plaza de Cort), which commemorates the entry of King Jaume I into the city. The Three Wise Men’s parade on 5 January will bring back the magic of childhood. It is a tradition with more than 200 years of history.
After the Christmas festivities and events, Nivia Born Boutique Hotel will open for the 2024 season on the 8th of February so that you can continue to enjoy the warm winter in Mallorca.
