15th April is World Art Day and at Nivia Born Boutique Hotel we want to take part in this tribute to the most sublime expression of human creativity. And not from just any place; from the very heart of Palma, where artistic beauty is very much alive and intermingled with culture and history.
You may not yet know that art has been part of our DNA since we were born, in 2021, and it vibrates in every corner of the facilities at Nivia Born Boutique Hotel. The elegant architecture of our luxury accommodation draws on artistic expression in every space to inspire guests. Thus, in the rooms you can contemplate works by Hunt Slonem or Elena Gual, among others, while Andrea Torres Balaguer decorates the stairs of Nivia Born Boutique Hotel with her works. All thanks to a close collaboration with the prestigious Gallery RED. Likewise, the old photographs of the Born that hang in the corridors convey emotions that will inspire anyone.
Our commitment to the promotion of art, in all its forms, goes beyond the doors of our establishment. Aware of its enriching role, every year we support three events of great importance on the island’s cultural scene: the Nit de l’Art, the Art Palma Brunch and Art Palma Summer, where local and international artists come together to share their creations with residents and visitors. We love the atmosphere that is generated when creativity and ingenuity are celebrated, when new perspectives and sensations are discovered. As you know, each work of art tells a unique story and is an invitation to reflection and dialogue on the issues that unite us as human beings.
In our eagerness to promote Palma’s art scene, we would also like to remind you that we are surrounded by Palma’s most prestigious art galleries – we certainly recommend you make time in your diary for a visit – and just a few steps away from Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma or the Museu Fundación Juan March, two places that will encourage you to nurture your thinking and creativity.
